Vietnam Signs New Nuclear Co-operation Agreement
During Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin’s recent visit to Hanoi, Vietnam and Russia signed a significant agreement to boost cooperation in the nuclear energy sector. This agreement aims to revive Vietnam’s nuclear energy program, which was suspended in 2016 due to escalating costs and safety concerns.
