Cebu Pacific Expands Clark Operations with New Flights to El Nido and Coron

Low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific is expanding its operations at Clark International Airport with new direct flights to El Nido and Coron starting March 30, 2025. This is part of the airline’s strategic move to decongest the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Manila and optimize airport capacity.

New Routes

The significant addition includes daily flights from Clark to the stunning destinations of El Nido and Coron. These routes notably align with the high demand for beach and leisure travel, ensuring passengers can easily access Palawan’s renowned tourist spots. The launch of the Clark-El Nido and Clark-Coron routes also aligns with Cebu Pacific’s commitment to making travel more convenient and memorable for every traveler.

Relocating Flights to Clark

Beyond introducing new routes, Cebu Pacific is relocating its Cebgo-operated flights for Masbate and Siargao from NAIA Terminal 2 to Clark. This transition reflects the directives from the Manila Slot Coordination Committee to reduce congestion at NAIA by shifting turboprop operations to other airports, setting the stage for more efficient airport management.

Clark: A Premier Gateway

Cebu Pacific is establishing Clark International Airport as a premier hub for travelers, with services extending to fifteen domestic and international destinations as part of its ongoing efforts. The enhanced connectivity through Clark caters to North and Central Luzon and offers easier access for international travelers.

Commitment to Passenger Convenience

Cebu Pacific has also recently changed to foster greater flexibility for its passengers. Being mindful of passengers’ desire for flexible travel plans, the airline has permanently removed change fees, allowing free rebooking for flights up to 30 days from the original date. This policy is anticipated to assist passengers in further adapting to this new hub transition.

Future Prospects

With the expansion of its fleet and the recalibration of its route network, Cebu Pacific is positioning itself to cater to the continued growth in passenger demand. Upcoming aircraft acquisitions and the introduction of more routes underscore the airline’s strategy to surpass the 24.5 million passengers serviced in 2024, targeting a robust 20% growth this year.
